About

bunny_budgetHey everyone, Welcome to Bunny on a Budget! If you’ve found this page then I’m guessing that like me, you either have children or pets – two bunnies in our case – and you are doing your best to give them the best life possible with the cash that you have available.

My husband and I have been married for about 7 years and we have 2 lively young boys aged 3 and 5. We’ve also recently expanded our little family by adding 2 lovely bunnies into the mix for the family to enjoy.

I started this blog because I wanted to share our journey and experience of life on a budget, so that hopefully others can relate to it and maybe even pick up a few family budgeting ideas along the way. We are not completely destitute and we are grateful for what we have but we are by no means flush with cash either. I suppose what I’m trying to say is that we can’t afford to waste the money that we do have, so when I do spend money on something for my family or our bunnies I like to make sure that I’m getting the best and most economical deal available.

Even though they are a relatively new addition, our rabbits are an important part of our family now and this has led me into doing a lot of research to find out how to give them the healthiest and happiest life possible for what we can afford. I know only too well just how hard it can be to raise a family on a budget and to be satisfied with how you’re doing it! So I thought that this blog might be a great way to help and learn from other parents who are on the same journey of raising a growing family on a budget and everything that comes along with it.

Being a mother I always seem to be buying something for the children or our pets. Sometimes I come across things that turn out to be great value for money and I feel very satisfied with my purchase. And then there are those other times, the times when I seriously regret a purchase and quite often I just wish that someone had been there to warn me against it. That’s why I really want to share my experiences with other parents out there, to hopefully help people who are taking the time to do a bit of online research on family items because like me, you can’t afford to make any mistakes. Whether I’m buying for my boys or for my bunnies I read a lot of online reviews before making purchases and I find them really useful and a great tool for shopping smart, so I hope you find mine useful too.

Anyway, we hope that you enjoy the blog and please don’t be frightened to join the discussion by leaving a comment. 🙂
